Whitegate Road Hurling 2025

We are delighted to introduce our 1st roadhurling event! A fantastic opportunity to walk of the Christmas Turkey, brush up on your hurling skills & enjoy this unique event with your team! Open to anyone 17  and older.

Route; 🛣️
Start at the Old Creamery
Finish at The Half Barrell

Rules:
Two teams will do the route together.  Each one marks the other teams card.

The least number of shots used to complete the route wins.

Sliotar must hit the road first. Failing to do this will mean no progress. Retake the shot from the same place and drop a shot. Same player takes the retake.

If you lose a sliotar, again no progress, drop a shot, and retake from the same position. Same player takes the retake. 

In the event all 3 Sliotars are lost, you are out of the event. 

Teams must take their shots in order....player 1 first, then player 2 & player 3. 

3 sliotars per team. Please bring your own Sliotars

In the event of a draw.Shortest last shot will decide the winner.
